Description

This is the Pleiades, the seven sisters, from Bortle 8/9 skies.  Also known as M45.I have about 6 or 7 hours each of LRGB.  Because the main stars are so bright, and because I was using unbinned mode on the 294mm (so 12bit only) I had to go down to 30 second subs to avoid saturating the stars too badly.  Probably in hindsight I should have just shot binned, but I was also imaging at 666mm FL and I wanted my pixel scale < 1”/px as I figured more resolution would be better.   But the seeing was not excellent so again, probably would have been better to shoot binned @1.4"/px.
